Nikita "Nick" Marchuk is a director and cinematic storyteller based in Sacramento, California, creating narrative films and branded content grounded in authenticity, craft, and human connection.

Originally from Minsk, Belarus, Nick immigrated to Northern California at age eight. Film & storytelling became a way to translate change, displacement, and emotion into something visual and lasting, a foundation that still shapes his work today.

He's directed award-winning narrative shorts including Premonition (Best Narrative, Top Shorts Film Festival 2023) and Robbery Intermission (Austin Micro Film Festival), and currently leads video production at United Way California Capital Region, where his storytelling has contributed to over $500,000 in fundraising campaigns.

His work explores grounded realism with subtle psychological tension, often focusing on how systems, technology, and human behavior intersect in quiet, unexpected ways. He's drawn to stories that feel accidental, interconnected, plausible, and deeply human.

Whether directing narrative films or creating cinematic content for brands, his goal is the same: to create stories that feel true, challenge perception, and move the craft forward.
